Hi, I am Julia and you can find me on TheHungryJPEG as Julia Dreams. I’m a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. I like to experiment with different techniques, styles and materials. I love to challenge myself with something new.
How did your design journey begin?
My journey began when I first entered design school, which I graduated from with a degree in Graphic Design. During the last year of my degree in university, I stumbled upon a website that sold illustrations. It caught my interest, and now here I am.

Where do you usually find your inspiration?
I am inspired by nature and travelling. This can be seen reflected in my work, which usually depicts nature and beautiful scenery.

A site that will be useful for any designer, may they have a little to a lot of experience, is the site “Skillshare”. Lots of useful information as well as inspiration can be found on this site.

What are the most common design problems that you face?
Hmm.. I don’t think there are any serious problems. The world of freelancing and selling is so beautiful that I just can’t find any faults with it.

Final question, do you have any advice or tips for anyone starting to sell their designs?
Do not be afraid to try something new. May it be a new technique, or a new style. The important thing is to love what you are doing.
