How to create Valentine’s crackers using The Fabulous February Bundle | Milowcostblog

Hi! I’m Carmen from Milowcostblog. TheHungryJPEG has invited me to show you how I create something cute using The Fabulous February Bundle. What a great honour! So here we go…

February is the month of love. So I decided to celebrate this month with an adorable printable. I have created some Valentine’s crackers, perfect if you are looking for an innovative last minute gift for your loved ones. All you need is a printer, toilet paper roll… and chocolates to fill the crackers with! (Or any small trinkets your loved ones’ like that you can fit into a cracker.)

First, simply download the templates and print them. I have designed two different printables just for you. Just go ahead and choose your favourite! Download Valentine’s crackers here.

Next, just cut out the outlines of the cracker template. (Don’t forget the diamond shapes inside the templates!) You can use a simple pair of scissors or an x-acto knife. Then, fold the template on both sides of the diamonds. these folds will make it easier to close the cracker when you’re done.

Once that is done, put the toilet roll on one side of the printable and begin to wrap it. You can use glue or double-sided tape to attach the roll to the printable. From there, just keep wrapping the toilet roll until it’s fully covered. To add a little more personality to your cracker, tie some ribbons on each side of the cracker; but don’t forget to fill it with chocolates or your chosen mini gifts for your loved ones!

And there you go! Your very own homemade Valentine’s crackers. It may be a small gesture, but depending on what you put inside the cracker, it could make your Valentine’s day worthwhile. Besides, it’s the thought that counts right? 😉

Here’s some additional ideas for you to fill your Valentine’s crackers with: gift vouchers, movie tickets, small trinkets (jewelry maybe?) or a simple love letter. 😉

Have a lovely Valentine’s Day! <3
